Viceroy Snowmass Frequently Asked Questions

COVID-19

Yes, guests are required to wear face masks and maintain six feet of physical distance while in an indoor space and when interacting with Viceroy colleagues and other guests.

For guest safety and comfort, daily housekeeping services are by request only and need to be scheduled by the guest 24 hours prior. We request that all guests/pets be out of the room during the time of service in order for our housekeeping staff to perform the requested services.

Yes, Viceroy Hotels and Resorts are part of the DISCOVERY loyalty program, a program designed with you in mind. Visit our loyalty page for more information and to enroll. 

The resort has a concierge team that is well versed in all seasonal activities for the Roaring Fork Valley.

Our ski-in and ski-out resort is located on Snowmass Mountain. 

The dress-code at Viceroy Snowmass is resort casual.

Yes, the welcome amenities at Viceroy Snowmass vary from season to season, but typically include beverages (coffee, tea, lemonade, etc.).

We have Viceroy vehicles available, as well as area taxi services.

Yes, high-speed internet access is available at Viceroy Snowmass  and is included with the resort fee.

Yes, there is cell phone coverage at Viceroy Snowmass. 

Our Four Mountain Sports ski valet runs a shop on the third floor during the Winter months and sells ski and snowboard accessories, as well as apparel and souvenirs.

Guestroom doors are all equipped with adequate locks and each unit has a safe for valuables.

The tap water is perfectly fine to drink and is quite tasty. Bottled water is also available at any of Viceroy Snowmass' restaurants and bars, and through in-room dining.

Viceroy Snowmass is a smoke-free environment.

We welcome guests to send packages to the hotel prior to their stay (skis, bags, Amazon packages, luggage, mail). The rate is $5.00 per item for the first 5 days and then $5.00 additional per day/per package after that.

Arrival

Viceroy Snowmass is located 8 miles away from the airport. The hotel can secure transportation services, a taxi, or bus transport for individuals or groups. 

Complimentary shared Aspen Airport transfers are provided when booked a minimum of 24 hours prior to arrival. Guaranteed private transfers, all transfers from the private terminal of the Aspen Airport, and transfers arranged inside of 24 hours prior to arrival are available at additional charge.

Viceroy Snowmass offers private vehicles for up to 6 passengers, for $60 each way. Based on availability.

Yes, please contact the concierge team at Viceroy Snowmass to arrange airport-to-hotel transportation.

On-site valet and self-parking are available. Our resort offers valet parking for $30 per day during the summer season and $40 per day during the winter season.

RV and camper van parking is available for hotel guests only and is limited to availability. Parking does not include electric/water hookups or waste disposal.

Yes, early check-in or late-check is possible, based upon availability.

No there is no minimum age to check-in. However, if a guest is not 18 years or older, we may require a parent or guardian of the guest to assume full liability for any and all proper charges and other obligations incurred by the guest at the hotel, as well as for any and all injuries or damage caused by the guest to any person or property at the hotel.

Guest Accommodations

Turndown service will not be offered during the summer season, however, please contact our guest services team for any guestroom needs that you may have during your stay.

Room rates at Viceroy Snowmass do not include breakfast. However, we frequently offer room packages/promotions that do include breakfast at one of our resort restaurants. 

No, the guestrooms at Viceroy Snowmass do not feature welcome amenities. 

Standard textile, chambersoft pillows. 100% cotton – hypoallergenic with medium support.

Viceroy Snowmass is a dog-friendly hotel that offers services and amenities for your four-legged family members. Dogs can stay in our guestrooms if they are under 100 lbs and fully house-trained. A one-time cleaning fee per stay is required. Please visit our Pet section for more information. 

Food and Beverage

Yes, based upon availability and Colorado laws. 

Yes, guests or friends may order special gifts or requests in advance by contacting the hotel. Any dietary restrictions will be accommodated, as long as the hotel is notified prior.

Recreation and Entertainment

Our onsite swimming pool and two hot tubs are located on property and available to hotel guests. Water temperature of the pools vary based upon the season. Generally the pool is 90-93F, and the hot tubs are 101-102F.

Private, outdoor classes and lessons are available by request. Our in-house instructor can accommodate all styles and experience levels.
