How can I make changes to my reservation?

What are the reservation team's opening hours?
Our reservations office is open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays. However, reservations are also available at other times through our reception team.

Do rooms have a balcony or terrace?

Is there an age minimum for check-in?
The minimum age to check-in is 18 years of age. If a guest is not 18 years or older, a parent or guardian of the guest is to assume full liability for any and all proper charges and other obligations incurred by the guest at the resort, as well as for any and all injuries or damage caused by the guest to any person or property at the resort.

What time is check-out at the resort? Is late check-out possible?
Check-out time is 12:00 PM. Late check-out is based on availability and an extra charge may apply.

Is payment required on check-in?
At check-in, a hold on your credit card may be placed to cover the remaining amount of the accommodation and any estimated incidentals through your check-out date. Such hold may not be released for 72-hours from your check-out date or longer, at the discretion of your card issuer. Without a physically presented valid debit or credit card, guests may not check-in.

Can I receive mail and packages at the resort?
Guests are welcome to send packages to the resort prior to their stay.

Yes, subject to availability and pre-booking confirmation.

Is the water safe for drinking? Is bottled water served at the resort?
The tap water at the resort is safe for drinking. Bottled water is available at any of the restaurants and bars or through in-room dining.

Does the resort have laundry service available?
Yes, the resort offers laundry service. Contact the front desk for more information.

Is there high-speed Internet access at the resort?
Yes, high-speed internet access is available in guestrooms and public areas.

Can you smoke at the resort?
All guestrooms are smoke-free environments. The resort does have designated smoking areas in the public space.

Are there adults-only areas at the hotel?
Yes, the spa, the spa outdoor pool area and spa café are only available to adults and children over the age of 15 years old.

Does the resort have a spa?
Yes. The Spa by Viceroy, opening in Spring 2025, will feature eight treatment rooms, three experiential suites, a beauty salon, a private outdoor pool, an indoor wellness wet and relaxation area, a Turkish bath, a Finnish Sauna, and herbal and salt steam room. Access to facilities is available upon confirmation of a treatment booking.

Yes, the resort reception operates 24-hours.

Are pets welcome at the resort? What facilities and services are available for pets?
Well-behaved pets are welcome in select guestrooms, resort public areas (excluding bars and restaurants) and poolside and spa facilities.
Please advise the resort that you are bringing a pet prior to arrival. When the pet is a service animal, please notify when making a reservation, and the fee will be waived. Proof of documentation is required.

Does the resort offer a kids pool?
No, there is no specific kids-only pool. The resort does offer two large resort pools that are available to all hotel guests.

Are children welcome at the resort? What facilities and services are available for children?
Viceroy at Ombria Algarve offers a 112 m2 V Team Kids Club complete with an indoor play area, video game station, reading corner, and arts and crafts space.

Are the pools heated?
The resort features four pools on the property, one that is heated.

At what distance is the nearest beach?
Public beaches are 21 km away for the resort (a 25 minute drive).

Does the resort offer transportation to and from neighboring cities?
Private transfer can be arranged to neighboring cities. Additional fees may be applied. Please contact the front desk for more information.

Is public transportation accessible from the resort?
Local bus transportation is available just outside the resort (1,7 km).

Does the resort offer airport transfers?
Yes, the resort can arrange airport transfers as well as area taxi services, which will be charged accordingly.

How far is the resort from the airport and what airport/resort transportation options are available?
The resort is located within a two-hour drive of Lisbon Airport and approximately 25 minutes from Faro Airport. Airport transfers can be arranged through the reservations team or if on the property, through the concierge desk.

Does the resort offer parking?
Yes, parking at the resort is available for hotel guests.

Is the resort ADA accessible? What accessible features are offered at the resort?
Yes, the resort is fully compliant to the EAA (European Accessibility Act equivalent to the ADA in the US). Accessible rooms are available on request and subject to availability.

What is the resort’s cancellation policy?
Reservation Guarantee: Room reservations must be guaranteed with valid credit card number. Hotel accepts VISA, Master Card and American Express. Pre-payment may be required subject to the terms and conditions at the time of booking.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellation fees and deadline dates are subject to your individual booking terms and conditions. Please refer to your booking confirmation for more details or contact your travel agent or our reservations team directly.

What are the resort rates?
Resort rates quoted are based on check-in date and length of stay. New rates may be applied if changes are made to the original booking. The total amount stated is an estimate based on current taxes and exchange rates (if applicable) and does not include additional fees/charges that may be incurred during your stay.
