Here, every day is an effortless adventure. A chance to write new stories, reconnect with loved ones, and immerse yourself in the magic of Baja.

Day 1: Arriving at Viceroy Los Cabos and Exploring

You’ve just touched down in Baja — allow us to take it from here. Viceroy Los Cabos sits about 20 minutes from Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) and 37 minutes from Cabo San Lucas International Airport (CSL). Luxury round-trip airport transfer service, complete with wifi and refreshments, takes the guesswork out of the final miles of your journey.

Arrive to find an oasis: a masterpiece of modernist design, framed by views of the Sea of Cortez that blur the boundaries between indoors and out. Our Guest Services team awaits, ready to welcome you to Los Cabos with a refreshing beverage upon arrival.

Behind closed doors, a sanctuary has been prepared for you, accented with light woods and natural stone in harmony with the water and sky. Integrated tech allows you to control lighting, music, and drapes at the touch of a finger, while in-room wellness rituals by The Class™ reconnect you to body, mind, and spirit.

Once you’ve settled in, exploration is the order of the day. Stroll among glass-and-concrete structures that seem to almost float above the resort’s saltwater pools. Designed by Mexico City-based architect Miguel Ángel Aragonés, it’s a stark departure from the predictable. Here, the ubiquity of palapas and artisanal tile has been traded for the purity of minimalism, an effect that’s both close to nature and far from typical.

As you explore, acquaint yourself with the resort’s amenities. A swim is always a good place to start.

You’ll find five pools at Viceroy Los Cabos:

  • an infinity-edge beachfront pool
  • three pools around the family-friendly pool deck
  • an adults-only rooftop pool

If you prefer a sweat over a swim, visit our state-of-the-art fitness center, designed in collaboration with Harley Pasternak. And get a taste of Viceroy Los Cabos’ six unique dining experiences, beginning with dinner at Awacate.

Set in a casual outdoor garden filled with citrus trees, Awacate spotlights regional ingredients using recipes handed down across generations. Mesoamerican art dominates the scene in the form of a colorful mural from virtuoso street artist Fernando “Lelo” Juarez. Come for favorites like the quesabirria and Oaxacan mole; linger over tres leches cake and a thoughtful mezcal selection.

Day 2: Spa Time, Tequila Tasting, and San José del Cabo

Morning at Viceroy Los Cabos opens on sunlight, sea, and sky — a nudge from the natural world towards wellness and vitality. Today is about indulgence. Start with a visit to THE SPA at Viceroy Los Cabos, a wellness retreat with signature vitality pools, thermal rooms, and a serene grotto to induce relaxation and stress relief. Book a couples massage, enjoy the thermal circuit as a group, or go your own way with a menu of treatments designed to leave you feeling restored long after you leave.

For lunch, nosh on snackable delights with your toes in the sand at Nidito Beach + Poolside Bar. The al fresco dining outlet is easy to find, nestled within a lattice-like structure known as The Nest. The menu is dominated by locally inspired dishes like elote, empanadas, and Baja fish tacos (rumored to be among the best in Cabo).

The afternoon offers plenty of things to do in Los Cabos or on the resort grounds, including:

  • Private cooking classes: Master Latin dishes like guacamole and ceviche.
  • Beach cabanas: Relax to the sound of waves steps from the Sea of Cortez.
  • Bike rides: Explore historic San José del Cabo, located just moments away.
  • Guided bicycle tours: Join a weekly ride to delve into the town’s arts scene and colonial architecture.
  • On-property cinema: Enjoy daily screenings in a luxe theater with JBL Synthesis 7.4 audio and Sony video display.
  • Village art walk: Take a guide-led stroll to San Jose’s top galleries and studios.
Beach Yoga at Viceroy Los Cabos

Back at the resort, our resident tequila experts have prepared a multisensory group tasting. Discover the history of Mexico's national drink as you learn to identify different varieties by color, flavor, and aroma. A selection of thoughtfully paired treats, from guacamole to chocolate truffles, complete the experience.

For dinner, savor Omakase fare in The Nest at NIDO, the sophisticated elder sister to Nidito’s casual poolside cuisine. Here, far-flung flavors meet ingredients from close to home, including seafood sourced from the waters just beyond your table.

Your evening concludes with in-room scented turn-down service from Aromaria, with signature fragrances reminiscent of your experiences at the resort.

Day 3: Sunrise Yoga, Breakfast at Casero, and Fond Farewells

Greet the dawn of your departure with sunrise yoga on the main pool deck. Mindfulness, after all, makes for an enduring souvenir. Afterwards, gather at Casero for breakfast and savor homestyle Mexican cooking as it’s meant to be. Think chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, or huevos con machaca, artfully served alongside indoor/outdoor views.

A noon check-out time leaves room for an excursion into town, with ample options for what to do in Los Cabos on your final day. Go boutique shopping in San José; try Galeria Marquina for handmade ceramics and Huichol art, or shop for sculptural jewelry from within a granite cave at Joyeria La Mina. Experience the historic Plaza Mijares (Misión San José Resto-Bar offers terrace seating that’s perfect for people-watching). Or explore the Gallery District for a window into the Baja California Sur art scene.

No departure day would be complete without a final dip in the pool or stroll along the beach, where farewell views call visitors back to our hideaway at the edge of the sea and sky. Because where one Los Cabos journey ends, another begins. Your story starts here.
