With the Santa Monica Pier being only a short walk away, families can enjoy the aquarium as well as great rides, including the Pacific Wheel (the world's ONLY solar-powered Ferris wheel!). Another great idea is to walk down to the boardwalk, rent a bike from Perry's Cafe and go for a nice sunset ride along the shore.
Pets are welcome subject to a pet fee of USD $125 per stay. The pet fee is per pet, per stay, and is non-refundable. A maximum of two dogs, weighing no more than 50 pounds each are allowed.
Please advise the hotel that you are bringing a pet prior to arrival. When the pet is a service animal, please notify when making a reservation, and the fee will be waived, and proof of documentation is not required.

No, there is no minimum age for checking in at Viceroy Santa Monica. However, if a guest is not 18 years or older, we may require a parent or guardian of the guest to assume full liability for any and all proper charges and other obligations incurred by the guest at the hotel, as well as for any and all injuries or damage caused by the guest to any person or property at the hotel.
Check in time is at 3:00 PM and check out is at 11:00 AM. We cannot guarantee either early or late check-in, but as with all special requests we will always note it in your reservation. Please note there is a half-day rate (half of best available rate) for staying in your room until 5:00 PM, and checking out after 5:00 PM warrants a full day rate (based on the best available rate of the hotel). Again, late check-out is only based on availability and with confirmation from the front desk.
Valet parking is available at the hotel for $55 + taxes per night.
Santa Monica does not allow overnight parking on the streets. All hotels in Santa Monica charge for overnight parking.
