Starting May 1, 2026, a 1.5% Tourism Improvement District (TID) assessment will be added to all room reservations. This assessment is mandated by the City of Chicago and is calculated on the room rate and any associated room-related charges.     

The TID supports citywide tourism initiatives, including marketing and convention promotion, helping Chicago remain a top global destination. Please note this assessment is separate from the amenity fee and will appear as a line item on your folio and is collected at the time of booking.
