Hotel Zeppelin Frequently Asked Questions
Is there an age minimum for check-in?
No. However, if a guest is not 18 years or older, we may require a parent or guardian of the guest to assume full liability for any and all proper charges and other obligations incurred by the guest at the hotel, as well as for any and all injuries or damage caused by the guest to any person or property at the hotel.
Is early check-in or late check-out possible?
We always do our best to accommodate early check-in and late checkout requests, however these will be honored on an availability basis for an additional charge. Email zeppelin.reservations@viceroyhotelgroup to arrange your request. Normal check-in time is 3:00pm and check-out is at 12:00pm.
How far is the hotel from the airport?
Hotel Zeppelin is conveniently located 14.1 miles from San Francisco International Airport, and is approximately 25 minutes away by car or taxi, or 45 minutes by BART.
What other airport/hotel transportation options are available?
From the Metropolitan Oakland International Airport, the hotel is located 20 miles away, and is a 30-minute drive by car or taxi or 28 minutes by BART.
Is parking available at the hotel?
We offer Valet Parking for $58/night plus tax. Over-sized vehicles are $68/night plus tax.
Is there a guest amenities fee?
Yes, Hotel Zeppelin charges $29.00 USD (plus tax) mandatory Guest Amenities Fee per night per room.
Fee includes but is not limited to the following:
- In-room Nespresso coffee
- In-room 13oz Fred bottled water – 20oz also available for $7.00 +tax
- Premium internet access
- Local phone calls (up to 60 minutes)

What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be made 72-hours prior to check-in (by 3:00 PM PST). Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to check-in will result in a credit card charge for one night. Special cancellation policies may apply for packages, promotions, certain arrival dates, and rates.
Is there a Concierge? What specific services are provided by the concierge?
Concierge service is available at our front desk. Our team is well versed in recommendations regarding local dining, attractions and special events.
What is the appropriate dress on property?
Our dress code is hip, cool and casual.
Do you have taxis available?
Taxis are available 24/7 and can be arranged via our front desk. Please allow a 15-minute grace period between ordering a taxi and its arrival.
What type of pillows are placed on each bed?
We offer both down and hypo-allergenic pillows for our guests.

Does the rate include breakfast?
Breakfast is not included in our room rates.
Do the guestrooms have mini-bars?
No, there are not fully stocked mini bars in the guestrooms at this time. However, there are empty mini fridges in each room for guest use.

What type of work out facility is available at the property?
Our top floor fitness studio features great views of the city and the latest high-tech equipment.
Can sports activities be pre-booked?
We provide a scenic-tour running map, and all other activities and tours in San Francisco and the surrounding areas can be booked through our concierge at the Front Desk.
Is there one or more "must see" local attractions?
The hotel is located near many of San Francisco’s best attractions, including the historic cable-car turnaround, Fisherman’s Wharf, Union Square, Chinatown, the Aquarium of the Bay, the Ferry Building and more.

Complimentary high-speed WiFi is offered in all common areas of the hotel. Complimentary standard WiFi is available in guestrooms, for an additional fee of $14.95/per day high-speed WiFi is available for up to ten devices.
Do you welcome pets?
Yes, Hotel Zeppelin San Francisco welcomes your furry friends. There is no weight limitation and a one time $75 deep cleaning fee applies per reservation.
