  • Accessible guest rooms with mobility features have doorways that provide 32” of clear width
  • Hotel’s valet parking accepts vehicles specially outfitted for wheelchair users

  • Guest room TVs have closed captioning or closed caption decoders provided
  • Service animals are welcome
  • Braille and tactile signage is provided for permanent rooms and spaces
  • Hotel employees will read menus and other printed/visual information to guests who are blind/low vision

Viceroy DC has the following accessible room types:

  • Viceroy Mobility/Hearing Accessible Two Queen with Roll-in Shower
  • Viceroy Mobility/Hearing Accessible King with Roll-in Shower
  • Viceroy Mobility/Hearing Accessible King Suite with Roll-in Shower

All accessible rooms are designated as “mobility/hearing accessible” and have features for guests with mobility and hearing disabilities, including, but not limited to:

  • Roll-in shower with grab bars and handheld shower
  • Lowered light switches, thermostats, and drapery controls
  • Toilet with grab bars
  • Accessible vanity
  • Accessible desk with pull-under space for a wheelchair
  • Accessible route to all parts of the room
  • Visual fire alarm
  • Visual notification devices for door knock/bell and telephone

Pets are welcome. Please advise the hotel that you are bringing a pet prior to arrival. When the pet is a service animal, please notify when making a reservation, and the fee will be waived, and proof of documentation is not required.
