Notably, he has produced many works that focus on downhill skiing, including iconic images of his father in the early days of the sport, which are featured at The Observatory Sun Valley, A Viceroy Resort.

    For more than 15 years, Travis Amick has documented the night skies above Central Idaho, capturing the celestial wonders that make the region one of the world's premier dark sky destinations. Recognized internationally for his astrophotography, Travis was named one of only 25 Aurora Photographers of the Year in 2025 and one of just three Americans to receive the distinction.
