Park Avenue
This is a city of arrivals and reinventions, where influences from around the world meet on the same streets. Style is observed, borrowed and made personal. Traditions travel across oceans, taking on new meaning in the hands of those who carry them forward
At Viceroy Park Avenue, meet the people who embody that spirit. Makers whose work is shaped by countless influences, and who, in turn, leave their own mark on the city.
Timur Sadyq
For Timur Sadyq, hair begins with observation. After two decades in his craft, he has learned to read texture, movement and the person in front of him, whether he is shaping a cut or building a wig by hand.
New York feeds that instinct. Inspiration comes from the street, from people passing by, from the constant exchange of cultures and identities across the city. For Timur, hair becomes a way to explore character, possibility and transformation.
Max Girombelli
For Max Girombelli, a bespoke suit starts with a conversation. Before fabric is chosen or a measurement taken, he wants to understand the person who will wear it. Where are they going? What does the moment mean, and how do they want to express themselves?
From New York, those measurements travel to Max’s tailors in Ancona, Italy, where many hands cut, stitch and construct each garment before it returns for its final fitting. The result carries generations of Italian craft, but belongs entirely to its wearer. As Max sees it, you don’t conform to the house. The house gives you the tools to create something of your own.
A World Made by Many
No place is made by one person. Behind every Viceroy is a community of people whose knowledge, craft and point of view give it character - shaped by years of practice and a deep connection to the places they call home.
A World Made by Many tells their stories. Across destinations and disciplines, meet the people behind our hotels, discover the work they know best, and explore more of their stories in the Viceroy Journal.
