We have developed three areas of focus, in which the product ingredients and treatment protocols intertwine to create deeply immersive experiences that nourish on a physical, mental, and emotional level.
We collaborate with local artisanal growers of herbs and flowers, and working with herbalists who understand the potency of nature, we have developed a range of products that combine to support the process of acceptance, intention setting, and embracing the present.

Deep Tissue Massage | 60 or 90 minutes
An intensive treatment that releases muscular tension using a combination of massage techniques, assisted holds and joint mobilization. Each session is intuitively adapted for a deeply recuperative experience.
Rebalancing Ritual | 90 or 120 minutes
A full-body exfoliation stimulates circulation and detoxification, rebalancing the body’s energy. This is followed by your choice of a 60- or 90-minute holistic massage for complete rejuvenation.
Herbal Compress | 90 or 120 minutes
A full body massage using warm herbal compresses steeped in nutrient-rich oils, relieves muscle tension and calms the nervous system. The compress is made with salt, fresh seasonal herbs and an essential oil blend of your choice.
Pregnancy Massage | 60 or 90 minutes
Designed for mothers-to-be from their second trimester onwards. Relieve back tension, soothe swollen legs and ankles, and smooth and hydrate the skin with this nurturing treatment designed for mothers-to-be from their second trimester onwards.

This unique experience combines body exfoliation on a heated water massage table with chromotherapy – a therapy that uses color and light to promote well-being – to engage multiple sensory channels and induce deep relaxation.

Indulge in an intimate retreat with our Signature Couples Celebration. Your journey begins with the Ritual of Love treatment, followed by two additional hours to unwind in our private Celebration Suite, featuring a steam shower, jacuzzi and secluded relaxation garden. The experience culminates in a sacred Cacao Ritual, a moment to set intentions, release, and embrace love together.

Ignae
Ignae is a skincare product from the Azores. The ingredients are sustainably sourced from the mineral-rich thermal water and surrounds from the active volcano in Furnas. This is home to thousands of different botanical species including extracts from camellia flowers, Japanese cedars, and green tea. From the crystal blue ocean, algae and spirulina are sourced from the deep water thermal vents. Ignae uses advanced techniques to extract and combine ingredients that unlock the efficacy of the ingredients creating transformational products without affecting the biodiversity or the natural ecosystem.
Oway
Oway has developed agricosmetic formulations, composed of biodynamic, organic, and upcycled actives, scented exclusively with essential oils. The actives are extracted through natural processes like distillation and maceration, respecting both the soil and the health of skin, scalp, and hair.

- Spa bookings require a prior reservation.
- Treatments are available each day from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM (last booking).
- Prices are inclusive of 23% VAT.
- Reservations may be made through the property reservations and reception team.
- We understand the need for flexibility, and will try to accommodate late arrivals, although treatments may be shortened if there is a follow on booking.
- If you do need to cancel, please inform the reception team as soon as possible. Cancellations within 6 hours may incur a 50% charge.
- Payments made be settled to the guest room account, or by credit card at the spa.
- Whilst we love children, the spa is an adult only environment and the minimum age for treatments is 16 years.
- The spa provides the opportunity for you to take some precious “me time” Please allow time to arrive, relax in our thermal area and fill out the consultation form prior to your treatment.
- Whilst we recommend removing your jewelry and leaving it in your room safe, we have a jewelry tray and safe at the spa should you need to avail of its use.
- All of our therapists are trained in protecting guest modesty during a treatment through draping of linens and towels. Should you prefer, we offer disposable underwear for your comfort and ease of mind.
- Please inform the therapist of any changes required to lighting levels, music volume and temperature so that you are fully relaxed and able to “let go” during the treatment.
- Please let the therapist know if they should modify the treatment pressure, and provide focus to any areas of concern.
- We recommend that you stay and enjoy a refreshment after the treatment, this allows some time for the benefits to integrate and process before you go back to your day. Equally, we recommend avoiding sun bathing in the immediate period after the treatment.
- Guests taking treatments are invited to use the thermal area, with steam, sauna, experience showers and indoor and outdoor bathing areas.
- There is a limited availability for hotel guests to reserve time in the thermal areas without a treatment booking. This is subject to availability and a charge of 75€ per person per day. Please contact spa reception to make a reservation.
