Creative Expression in The Caribbean
Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort
At the edge of the beach, in a sun-drenched part of the world, creativity thrives. Come curious. The Sugar Beach Art Collection features works by modern masters, from Andy Warhol to Jeff Koons to Banksy. Discover them in places both highly visible and delightfully hidden, and get the stories behind them on the resort’s new Audio Art Tour. While each piece is a self-contained masterpiece, they truly come into their own when experienced against the backdrop of soft white sand and lush tropical rainforest.

Shared Art Experiences
Viceroy Washington DC
Viceroy Washington DC brings people together through shared art experiences that inspire you to widen your perspective. Upon its opening, the hotel teamed up with the visionary minds of No Kings Collective to create a mural that nods to the storied Logan Circle neighborhood with elements of street design and abstract imagery. Since then, the hotel launched an intimate gallery space featuring rotating exhibits. The first exhibit is KINFOLK, featuring works by artists Charles Phillipe Jean-Pierre and Kendall Robinson that reflect on how space and time bring people together for collective experiences. Another evocative focal point at the hotel is Compass to the Cosmos, an augmented-reality-enhanced cube-shaped sculpture (also by Jean-Pierre and Robinson) that morphs via motion graphics when viewed through one’s phone to ultimately symbolize intergenerational connections and celestial energies.

An Oasis of Art on an Iconic Coast
Viceroy Santa Monica
From the façade to the courtyard to the lobby to guestrooms, Viceroy Santa Monica is a canvas of colors and fresh perspectives. See the coast through different mood-shifting lenses as you make your way around the hotel. Newly installed are in-room works from innovative artists Priscilla C. Witte and Kelcey Fisher, who encapsulate the spirit of being outdoors. Witness photographs, once lost and newly restored, taken by Karen Bystedt of Andy Warhol in the lobby; and a series of color-saturated paintings by Monica Perez in the Lounge. Three exterior murals reflect the hotel’s vibrant soul and the creative community that surrounds it. They include a midcentury modern-inspired exterior mural by Erin Miller Way, a bold homage to nature by Spencer Mar Guilburt, and a contoured and colorful abstract work by Evelyn Leigh.

Stunning Symbolism That Inspires
Viceroy Los Cabos
Including a mural by Spencer Mar Guilburt featuring palm trees as representations of people transcending labels for a peaceful coexistence, each piece promises more than meets the eye. Go beyond the cinematic architecture of the resort to discover these visual statements that are more than photo moments — they are vibrant reminders of a culture and a landscape that begs to be discovered.

Redefining the Future
Hotel Zena Washington DC
Look through a new window into the artistry of Washington DC. Hotel Zena Washington DC is part hotel and part art gallery focused on works that celebrate women. Its powerful art collection simply titled “Her” features an array of pieces created by DC artists, from a mural of late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg to a sequined “gown” layered in 8,000 protest buttons supporting the fight for Women’s Rights. Look at each artwork as a piece of modern-day history that’s also her story and YOUR story. It’s a vibrant visual language, and everybody is invited to the conversation.

The Wild Spirits of Kopaonik Mountain
Viceroy Kopaonik Serbia
You can almost feel the rush of the mountain air and hear the call of native animals in the newest art installation at Viceroy Kopaonik. It’s an eight-piece mural collection created by local artist Ognian Dzevrnja. Inspired by the natural habitats and surroundings of the National Park Kopaonik, has “threaded” the image of animals against stunning backdrops. It’s all part of Viceroy’s A Canvas For Discovery initiative, which puts original, site-specific works created by innovative artists at the forefront of our hotels to welcome you and guide your journey.
