Culinary Conclave - February 15-17, 2013
Experience Viceroy Anguilla's first Culinary Conclave February 15 – 17, 2013. Enjoy cuisines from some of the world’s most noted chefs. Throughout the weekend, award-winning chefs will treat guests during palate-pleasing events as they gather to celebrate food and wine in the natural beauty of the British West Indies. An all-inclusive weekend package, as well as separate tickets for each event, will be offered.
The weekend will begin with a welcome reception on Friday evening with delicacies prepared by Viceroy Anguilla’s Executive Chef Cliff Denny along with local island chefs. Proceeds from the evening will go to support the island’s professional culinary education scholarship program. Guest celebrity chefs will mix and mingle in this al fresco environment overlooking the Aleta pool and waters of the Caribbean Sea.

Chef Cliff Denny
A graduate of Hastings College on the south coast of England, Cliff’s career began in some of the finest kitchens in England. His first major culinary position was with Chef Bernard Gaume at the Chelsea Room located in the five-star deluxe Hyatt Carlton Tower in Knightsbridge, London, serving classical French cuisine.
Chef Johnny Iuzzini
Pastry Chef Johnny Iuzzini has won many accolades including James Beard Foundation "Pastry Chef of the Year", the "10 Most Influential Pastry Chefs in America" by Forbes, "Best New Pastry Chef" by New York Magazine, and named one of the “Top Ten Pastry Chefs in America” two years in a row by Pastry Arts and Design. He is the head judge of Bravo’s culinary competition series Top Chef: Just Desserts.
Chef Kevin Sbraga
A graduate of Johnson & Wales’ prestigious College of Culinary Arts, Chef Kevin Sbraga takes his no boundaries approach to modern American cuisine to new heights at Sbraga, an Esquire magazine “Best New Restaurant” and one of Philadelphia magazine’s “Best Restaurants of 2013.” Chef Sbraga was the winner of Bravo’s seventh season of “Top Chef” and received the award for “Best Meat Presentation” in the 2008 Bocuse d’Or USA culinary competition.
Chef Jonathan Waxman
Jonathan Waxman is the chef and owner of Barbuto in New York City, author of cookbooks “A Great American Cook” and “Italian My Way,” and a former contestant on Bravo’s Top Chef Masters Season 2. Waxman is revered nationwide as one of the pioneers of California cuisine and is credited with being the first to bring its style, fusing French cooking techniques with the freshest local ingredients, to New York.
Masters of Ceremony - Billy Harris
Billy Harris will be the Master of Ceremonies for the Saturday night Gala where all proceeds will benefit Share our Strength, the leading organization in the world fighting to end children’s hunger.
For the past twenty years, Billy Harris has been wowing audiences with his razor-sharp timing and brilliant improvisational skills and has hosted events with culinary greats including Mario Batali, Rachael Ray, Todd English and Michael Symon.
