History of the Yas Marina Circuit
On November 1, 2009 Abu Dhabi hosted the country's inaugural Grand Prix on the new 5.55-kilometre Yas Marina Circuit. It was also the first F1™ twilight race, with powerful lighting ensuring a seamless transition from day to night.
