In light of new COVID-19 variants and airline cancellations, we highly recommend travel insurance for all guests. Current hotel cancellation policies remain in effect regardless of COVID-19 circumstances.

Proof of vaccination is not currently required.

In alignment with state and county guidelines, unvaccinated guests are required to wear face masks in all indoor settings. Guests that are fully vaccinated are not required to wear face masks or practice social distancing in outdoor settings.

Guests that are not fully vaccinated are required to wear face masks and maintain six feet of physical distance in public areas and when interacting with Viceroy colleagues and other guests.

Daily housekeeping service is provided. If you would like to opt out of the daily service, you may do so at check-in. In compliance with safety guidelines, we ask that Hotel Zetta guests not be present in the room during service.

Yes, Hotel Zetta has a mandatory guest amenities fee of $29 per night (plus tax) per room. For more information, please visit our amenities page.

You may cancel your reservation without penalty until 3pm local hotel time, two days prior to arrival (48 hours). Special cancellation policies may apply for packages, promotions, certain arrival dates, and rates.

Concierge service is available at our front desk. Our team is well versed in recommendations regarding local dining, attractions, activities, and special events.

The dress code at Hotel Zetta is hip, cool and casual.

Taxis are available 24/7 and can be arranged via our front desk. Please allow a 15-minute grace period between ordering a taxi and its arrival.


No, there is no minimum age for checking-in at Hotel Zetta. However, if a guest is not 18 years or older, we may require a parent or guardian of the guest to assume full liability for any and all proper charges and other obligations incurred by the guest at the hotel, as well as for any and all injuries or damage caused by the guest to any person or property at the hotel.

We always do our best to accommodate early check-in and late checkout requests, however these will be honored on an availability basis for an additional charge. Email zetta.reservations@viceroyhotelgroup.com to arrange your request. After 6:00 PM, a full day’s rate will apply and the room will be extended for that night.

Hotel Zetta is conveniently located 13.5 miles from San Francisco International Airport, and is approximately 20 minutes away by car or taxi, or 45 minutes by BART.

Hotel Zetta is located approximately 20 miles away from the Metropolitan Oakland International Airport (OAK), a 30-minute drive by car or taxi, or 28 minutes by BART.

Hotel Zetta offers valet parking with in and out privileges for $55/night plus tax (closed from 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).

We provide a scenic-tour running map, and all other activities and tours in San Francisco and the surrounding areas can be booked through our concierge at the front desk. 

The hotel is located near many of San Francisco’s best attractions, including the historic cable-car turnaround, Fisherman’s Wharf, Union Square, Chinatown, the Aquarium of the Bay, the Ferry Building and more.

Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is offered in all common areas of the hotel. Complimentary standard Wi-Fi is available in guestrooms and high-speed Wi-Fi is available for up to ten devices for an additional fee of $14.95 per day.

Pets are welcome subject to a one-time $75 deep cleaning fee per reservation. There is no weight limit.

Please advise the hotel that you are bringing a pet prior to arrival. When the pet is a service animal, please notify when making a reservation, and the fee will be waived, and proof of documentation is not required.
