In light of new COVID-19 variants and airline cancellations, we highly recommend travel insurance for all guests. Current hotel cancellation policies remain in effect regardless of COVID-19 circumstances.

In alignment with state and county guidelines, unvaccinated guests are required to wear face masks in all indoor settings. Guests that are fully vaccinated are not required to wear face masks or practice social distancing in outdoor settings.

Guests that are not fully vaccinated are required to wear face masks and maintain six feet of physical distance in public areas and when interacting with Viceroy colleagues and other guests.

Daily housekeeping service is provided. If you would like to opt out of the daily service, you may do so at check-in. In compliance with safety guidelines, we ask that Hotel Zeppelin guests not be present in the room during service.

Yes, Hotel Zeppelin has a mandatory guest amenities fee of $29 per night (plus tax) per room. For more information, please visit our amenities page.

You may cancel your reservation without penalty until 3pm local hotel time, two days prior to arrival (48 hours). Special cancellation policies may apply for packages, promotions, certain arrival dates, and rates.

Hotel Zeppelin's concierge service is available at our front desk. Our team is well versed in recommendations regarding local dining, attractions and special events

The dress code at Hotel Zeppelin is hip, cool and casual.

Taxis are available 24/7 and can be arranged via our front desk. Please allow a 15-minute grace period between ordering a taxi and its arrival.


No, there is no minimum age to check-in to Hotel Zeppelin. However, if a guest is not 18 years or older, we may require a parent or guardian of the guest to assume full liability for any and all proper charges and other obligations incurred by the guest at the hotel, as well as for any and all injuries or damage caused by the guest to any person or property at the hotel.

We always do our best to accommodate early check-in and late checkout requests, however, these will be honored on an availability basis for an additional charge. Email: zeppelin.reservations@viceroyhotelgroup to arrange your request. Normal check-in time is 3:00pm and check-out is at 12:00pm.

Hotel Zeppelin is located near San Francisco International Airport (SFO), just 14.1 miles away and approximately 25 minutes by car or taxi, or 45 minutes by BART.

Hotel Zeppelin San Francisco is also located near the Metropolitan Oakland International Airport (OAK), which is just 20 miles away, a 30-minute drive by car or taxi or 28 minutes by BART.

Valet parking is available at Hotel Zeppelin daily from 6:00 AM – 11:00 PM only ($58/night plus tax, oversized vehicles are $68/night plus tax).

A variety of activities can be booked through our concierge at Hotel Zeppelin's front desk. We provide a scenic-tour running map, along with other activities and tours in San Francisco and the surrounding areas. 

The hotel is located near many of San Francisco’s best attractions, including the historic cable-car turnaround, Fisherman’s Wharf, Union Square, Chinatown, the Aquarium of the Bay, the Ferry Building and more. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is offered in all common areas of Hotel Zeppelin. Complimentary standard Wi-Fi is available in guestrooms and high-speed Wi-Fi for up to ten devices is available for an additional fee of $14.95 per day .

Pets are welcome - subject to a one-time $75 deep cleaning fee per reservation. There is no weight limit.

Please advise the hotel that you are bringing a pet prior to arrival. When the pet is a service animal, please notify when making a reservation, and the fee will be waived, and proof of documentation is not required.
