Hotel Zelos Frequently Asked Questions

COVID-19

In light of new COVID-19 variants and airline cancellations, we highly recommend travel insurance for all guests. Current hotel cancellation policies remain in effect regardless of COVID-19 circumstances.

Proof of vaccination is not currently required.

In alignment with state and county guidelines, unvaccinated guests are required to wear face masks in all indoor settings. Guests that are fully vaccinated are not required to wear face masks or practice social distancing in outdoor settings.

Guests that are not fully vaccinated are required to wear face masks and maintain six feet of physical distance in public areas and when interacting with Viceroy colleagues and other guests.

Daily housekeeping service is provided. If you would like to opt-out of the daily service, you may do so at check-in. In compliance with safety guidelines, we ask that Hotel Zelos guests not be present in the room during service.

Yes, Hotel Zelos has a mandatory guest amenities fee of $29 per night (plus tax) per room. For more information, please visit our amenities page.

You may cancel your reservation without penalty until 3pm local hotel time, two days prior to arrival (48 hours). Special cancellation policies may apply for packages, promotions, certain arrival dates, and rates.

Our dress code is hip and casual.


Taxis are available 24/7 and can be arranged via our front desk. Please allow a 15-minute grace period between ordering a taxi and its arrival.

Arrival

No. However, if a guest is not 18 years or older, we may require a parent or guardian of the guest to assume full liability for any and all proper charges and other obligations incurred by the guest at the hotel, as well as for any and all injuries or damage caused by the guest to any person or property at the hotel.

We always do our best to accommodate early check-in and late check-out requests, however, these will be honored on an availability basis. Normal check-in time is 3:00 PM and check-out is at 12:00 PM.

Early Check-In Fees: 

  • 10:00 AM check-in $65 +tax,
  • 12:00 PM check-in $55 +tax

Late Check-Out Fees:

  • 3:00 PM check-out $75 +tax
  • 6:00 PM check-out $125 +tax

Hotel Zelos is conveniently located 14.2 miles from San Francisco International Airport (SFO), and is approximately 30 minutes away by car or taxi.

Valet parking is available at Hotel Zelos daily from 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM only ($55/night plus tax).

Guest Accommodations

At Hotel Zelos, we offer both down and hypo-allergenic pillows for our guests.

Breakfast is not included in Hotel Zelos' room rates.

Rollaway beds can be placed at $30 per night (based on room type and availability).

Our 6th floor fitness studio features high-tech work out equipment, as well as yoga and Pilates gear.

Hotel Zelos is located near many of San Francisco’s best attractions, including the historic cable-car turnaround, Fisherman’s Wharf, Union Square, Chinatown, the Aquarium of the Bay, the Ferry Building and more.

Complimentary WiFi is offered in all common areas of the hotel. Complimentary standard WiFi is available in guestrooms for up to three devices.

Pets are welcome subject to a one-time $75 deep cleaning fee per reservation. There is no weight limit.

Please advise the hotel that you are bringing a pet prior to arrival. When the pet is a service animal, please notify when making a reservation, and the fee will be waived, and proof of documentation is not required.
