    Chinese New Year Festival and Parade

    The San Francisco Chinese New Year celebration is the largest outside of Asia, and its capstone parade is one of the few surviving lighted night parades in the U.S., making it an event that draws visitors from many places.

    San Francisco’s Zappos.com Bay to Breakers is the oldest consecutively run annual footrace in the world, a staple to the City by the Bay since May 1912. With a starting point near the San Francisco Bay, a few blocks from The Embarcadero, the 12K race runs west through the city and finishes at the Great Highway where breakers crash onto the Pacific Coast’s Ocean Beach.

    A quintessential San Francisco experience for 104 years, the race is interwoven into the fabric of the city and is a true reflection and celebration of life between the breakers and the Bay. Click here to learn more.

    The Noise Pop Festival is an annual indie music, arts and film festival. What started as a yearly festival of independent music that featured the best local bands the city had to offer has grown to be recognized around the world. In addition, the festival boasts a film series that explores the intersection of music and art; Pop-n-Shop, a local designer fair; Culture Club, an interactive workshop exploring DIY culture; Art Gallery Shows; Happy Hours and much more.
