Chef Jacques Chretien

Heading up the culinary team is Chef Jacques Chretien who was appointed as Executive Chef/Director of Food & Beverage at Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort in April 2013. Chef Chretien brings close to 30 years of experience to his position having enjoyed a distinguished career in the kitchens of some of the best restaurants in France and Mexico.

While Chef Chretien’s style is undeniably French, he is passionate about using the freshest local ingredients and incorporating traditional St Lucian flavours and techniques in the dishes he prepares at Sugar Beach. He takes regular trips to the local market and has established relationships with a number of farmers who provide the resort with organic greens, lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes and vegetables, as well as organic pork and chicken.
