DECOUVERT LA TRADITION ST. LUCIE
Experience St. Lucia’s culture at its best! A tour designed for the family, the adventurous and especially persons with a keen interest in the island’s history! The tour starts with a few minutes drive to the Morne Coubaril Estate. You will see and learn how crops such as coconut; is processed into copra, cocoa (chocolate) beans into cocoa sticks and how sugar cane juice is extracted from an 18th century sugar mill. Enjoy freshly squeezed sugar cane juice, fresh dried coconuts and other estate produce while on tour. From there, we walk through a mini herbal garden on the estate that gives you the opportunity to see and learn about different herbal plants our ancestors used to heal themselves from different ailments.
We then board the bus for a five minutes drive to Diamond, Soufriere, where you will learn about more herbal plants and remedies we use locally. The tour continues with a boat ride via water taxi from Soufriere town to the Anse Ivorgne Beach (at the base of Gros Piton), which was the main bay to export molasses in the 18th century. Your guide will explain how the locals make charcoal, see how fishermen get their fresh catch using fish nets and fishing lines, learn how our ancestors preserved fish, roasting fish over coal pot, learn and practice playing the game of the Caribbean- Cricket. Enjoy a swim in our deep blue Caribbean waters before partaking in a beach BBQ and creole lunch, eating from Calabash bowls as our ancestors did.

18th CENTURY PLANTATION LIFE
This half day tour starts with a visit to the 18th century Morne Coubaril Estate. A visit to the 18th century Amerindian village takes you back in time; as you discover how the island’s first settlers lived. Learn and see how crops such as coconut, cocoa (Chocolate beans) and sugar cane were processed. The tour continues with a drive down the west coast through the village of Choiseul as your guide educates you about the history of the village. The next stop is at the Choiseul Arts and Craft centre where a wide range of locally made Souvenirs and crafts can be purchased. Finally, we continue to the Balenbouche estate; the working plantation proudly demonstrates the life of the 18th century with remains of the old sugar mill and a visit to the 18th Century plantation House.

GROS PITON HIKE ADVENTURE BY SEA
A fifteen minutes boat ride via water taxi will take you to the base of Gros Piton where one starts the hike. The Hike lasts approximately three hours and is strenuous. Be captivated by the breathtaking views of Petit Piton, St. Vincent and the south of the island from the summit of Gros Piton. After the hike, take a deep in the warm, blue Caribbean waters, then enjoy a local meal with Chef Esnard’s specialty BBQ and ice cold drinks (local juice, beers and rum punch) before returning to your resort.

FARM TO TABLE
Embark on a culinary adventure of a lifetime with Chef Daniel Hurtado. Join our Chef on a trip to the farms where he chooses his organic produce and make your own selection of herbs, vegetables and crispy greens. Then head to the fish market before returning to the resort for a side-by-side cooking lesson. Enjoy the fruits of your labors with perfect wine pairings.
