    When the snow melts, the fun continues in Snowmass with a plethora of children's activities, golf at the Snowmass Club, hiking, gondola-served mountain biking, horseback riding, fly-fishing and paragliding. Summer festivals celebrate all types of music, as well as wine, art, handcrafted brews and more. The rodeo also comes to town each summer, along with other world-class sports competitions and the Jazz Aspen Snowmass Labor Day Festival.

    Music Events in Aspen/Snowmass

    When the ski season ends in Snowmass/Aspen the area becomes a buzzing music scene, with festivals and concerts of all genres. Snowmass Village and JAS (Jazz Aspen Snowmass) have joined together since 1994 to offer a summer full of free concerts with a wide variety of musical genres presented, everything from reggae to classical jazz. The concerts are held outside at the end of the Snowmass Village Mall on Snowmass Mountain and are ideal for picnics. At the end of summer, the JAS Labor Day Festival takes place in Snowmass Village. This vibrant festival is renowned for its unparalleled combination of world-class music on three stages and stunning mountain vistas.

    Biking & Cycling

    Aspen, Colorado is home to some of the most intense athletes in the world. While biking has always been a popular sport in this area, it has assumed an even higher degree of interest (locally, nationally, and internationally).

    Hiking

    Take the Elk Camp Gondola and Elk Camp chairlift (Friday - Sunday) for stunning views and an amazing network of trails suitable for all levels of hikers, from beginner to expert. Pick up a map from the concierge to plan your route for the day. Let our preferred guiding service take you on a scenic hike just outside of Aspen and Snowmass. We'll help you determine the best hike for you and your party to destinations from Cathedral Lake, Lost Man, Midway Pass, Buckskin Pass, West Maroon Pass, Tabor, New York trail, and more.
