Guests are personally welcomed upon arrival to our Playa del Carmen resort and led through the tropical forest paths to their villa. The palapa-roofed, stucco bohíos, or villas, are decorated with an eye to the sophisticated simplicity of Maya aesthetics, utilizing natural materials throughout: louvered-mahogany doors and windows, sisal rugs, and canopy beds with hand-stitched Egyptian cotton linens. Bath areas are especially spacious with indoor and outdoor showers and his-and-hers sinks and closets.

Construction Update:
Viceroy Riviera Maya is thrilled to announce that five Villas are being renovated to recreate the perfect room product to enhance the stunning intimate resort. The project is anticipated to be complete by the end of September 2013. As always, the priority of the resort team will be to ensure the ultimate experience for our guests and minimize any impact on their experience. Work will be limited to daytime hours only and confined to the one area where the Villas are clustered, in a non-visible area of the property.
