Show All | Hide AllThe food and beverage minimum is the least amount of money that you are required to spend on a combination of food and beverage, excluding service charge and sales tax, but is not all that you could spend. The food and beverage minimum is reached by selecting individually priced, a la carte menu items to equal or exceed the required dollar figure.
The following examples would apply towards the food and beverage minimum:
Hors d’oeuvres, food display and carving stations, plated or buffet meal, wedding cake, dessert display stations, wine service with the meal, champagne toast, the bar (including alcohol), specialty station and any non-alcoholic beverages.
Centerpieces, upgraded linens/china/silverware, décor, and specialty lighting would not apply towards the food and beverage minimum.
The hotel must provide all food and beverage items. The sale and service of alcoholic beverages is regulated by the Florida State Liquor Commission and Viceroy Miami is responsible for the administration of those regulations. It is the hotel’s policy that all alcoholic beverages must be provided by the hotel.
Food and beverage selections must be finalized and confirmed with your Wedding Coordinator a maximum of 6-8 weeks prior to the date of your wedding.
Additional menu selections and customized proposals are available through your Catering Manager. We will be happy to customize a menu based on your needs.
We offer all our Brides the opportunity to experience our Chef's unique food tasting four to six weeks prior to the wedding. Please schedule your tasting with your Catering Manager.
Planning and Logistics
Show All | Hide AllIf you wish to reserve a block of rooms for your family and guests, please notify your Wedding Coordinator who can provide you with availability and rates.
We recommend guestroom reservations be made for a minimum two night length of stay with a check-in date of the night before the wedding and checkout the day after the wedding. This will eliminate the stress on the day of the wedding of having to check-in and out of guestrooms.
The hotel must be notified of the exact number of guests attending a function at least 72 working hours prior to the start of the event. This will be considered a guarantee, for which you will be charged, even if fewer guests attend the event.
Yes. You may arrange to have your ceremony in designated areas of Viceroy Miami. Ceremony fees range from $700 to $2,500 depending on the site selection.

Viceroy Miami will apply a 22% taxable service charge and 9% sales tax to all food and beverage items.
Yes. Viceroy Miami will be more than happy to provide you with recommended vendors. Please consult with your Catering Manager for a recommended list of creative and qualified wedding professionals.
Summer is traditionally thought of as low season in Miami. We can offer more flexible conditions during that time with lower food and beverage minimums.
To secure a date, a signed contract and non-refundable deposit is required. The deposit is 25% of the estimated value of the event. A full estimated prepayment of the event is due two weeks prior to the wedding date. A credit card will need to be on file to accommodate any overages on the day of the event.
About The Hotel and Miami
Show All | Hide AllOur Great Room is approximately 2,666 Square feet and can accommodate up to 160 guests with a dance floor.
The Great Room offers floor to ceiling windows.
Our standard Wedding Package includes 5 hours of service, additional hours are available for $500 per hour In addition to bar fees. All events in the Great Room must conclude no later than 2:00 a.m.
Viceroy Miami offers a wide and appealing selection of outdoor venue spaces. We recommend that for every outdoor function, a back-up space is also secured in case of inclement weather. Outdoor music entertainment must conclude by 10:00 p.m. Please also note that glassware is not permitted by most outdoor venues due to the proximity to the pool.
Yes. Valet parking is available at $15.00 per automobile.
We offer a complimentary suite to the bride and groom on the night of the wedding.
We do allow guests who are getting married at the hotel to have photos taken on property. This right is reserved exclusively to Brides hosting their wedding at Viceroy Miami
Yes. Your Catering Manager will be on site to assist you on your special day.
