Is early check-in or late check-out possible?

We always do our best to accommodate early check-in and late checkout requests, however these will be honored on an availability basis. In the case that a late checkout is available, the following late checkout fees apply: From 12:00pm - 3:00pm; half day rate | After 3:00pm a full day’s rate will apply and the room will be extended for that night.


How far is the hotel from the airport?

Cassa Hotel is located in the heart of New York City and is an easy commute to and from John F. Kennedy International Airport, LaGuardia Airport, and Newark International Airport. 

For trips between (to and from) Manhattan and JFK International Airport,  the flat fare is $52.00 plus any tolls using Rate Code 2 on the meter. A NY State Tax Surcharge of $.50 will be added to each trip, which totals to an estimate of $71 with tip and toll. 


What other airport/hotel transportation options are available?

There are many readily available public transportation options in NYC. Taxi is the easiest with the rate range depending on which airport is in question. Guests may also choose to use certain train routes and there are shuttle buses that make regular trips between hotels and nearby stops.  Please call us for any further information on transportation to or from any of the airports.


What time is check in/check out time?

You may check in at 3:00 PM. Standard check out is at 12:00 PM.  Early check in or late check out can be arranged for a minimal charge if available at the time of check in.


Is there an age minimum for check in?

No. However, if a guest is not 18 years or older, we may require a parent or guardian of the guest to assume full liability for any and all proper charges and other obligations incurred by the guest at the hotel, as well as for any and all injuries or damage caused by the guest to any person or property at the hotel.


Can I store my luggage?

Luggage can be stored while rooms are being prepared or on day of checkout.

Do you offer room service?

We are pleased to offer Cassa Express, a limited Room Service option provided by Pret A Manger.  Pret operates similar to a restaurant. There is a kitchen in (or very near) every shop where Pret Chefs chop, slice and dice all day. So you won't find 'sell by' dates on any of their selections. All foods are made from natural handmade ingredients and are conveniently packaged to enjoy in the privacy of your room.  Simply place your order with our Guest Services team (you can even sign it to your room!) and our intrepid in-house delivery person will collect it and bring it up to your room.

Cassa Express is available Monday-Friday 7:15am-9:00pm | Saturday-Sunday 8:00am-6:00pm


May special gifts be ordered in advance by either guests or their friends?

Yes, we have a curated a selection of wines, champagnes and special welcome amenities all available for in-room delivery. Please contact our Concierge at cassa.concierge@viceroyhotelgroup.com further details.


Do you have a restaurant?

Butter, located on the Cellar level is helmed by Food Network star and Executive Chef Alex Guarnaschelli, uses greenmarket offerings to create seasonal American menus. Butter offers an enhanced continental breakfast daily for hotel guests only.

What type of pillows does the hotel offer?

We are delighted to offer both down and hypo-allergenic pillows for our guests.


Are there coffeemakers or refrigerators in the room?

At this time we do not offer coffeemakers in all rooms but feel free to request one prior to arrival by emailing cassareservations@viceroyhotelgroup.com or sharing your preference upon arrival. Refrigerators are available upon request and subject to availability.


Do the guestrooms have mini-bars?

Each guestroom has a miniature refrigerator for personal food storage. The mini-bar can be stocked with beverages upon request in advance of your stay through the concierge. 


Can your rooms accommodate rollaway beds or playyards?

Yes, rollaways and playpen may be accommodated in select rooms. Fees apply and are based on availability.  Please contact cassa.reservations@viceroyhotelgroup.com to make the necessary arrangements.


Are there coffeemakers or refrigerators in the room?

Although at this time we do not offer coffeemakers in the rooms, please feel free to request one prior to arrival by emailing cassa.reservations@viceroyhotelgroup.com. Alternatively, you may request one be brought to your room by contacting our Guest Services at extension 0.

Our Concierge Team will be happy to help you with maps, tours, and all other activities in Manhattan and surrounding areas.


Are there one or more “must-see” local attractions?

The hotel is located in the very heart of Midtown Manhattan only steps away from Times Square, Broadway, Rockefeller Center, Central Park, Grand Central Terminal, Bryant Park, Empire State Building, Fifth  and Madison Avenues, prime retail shopping and many others.


I want to see the latest Broadway show or catch a game. Who can assist me with tickets?

Which airports are closest to the hotel?

Do you offer free shuttle service to the hotel?

We do not offer free shuttle service from the airport, but would be happy to arrange transportation for you.  Please contact our Concierge at cassa.concierge@viceroyhotelgroup.com for additional details.


Do you have onsite parking?

While we do not offer onsite we have self-parking which available at a nearby garage on 46th street between 5th & 6th Avenue.  The daily fee is $40 per 24-hour period ($50 a day for SUVs and oversized vehicles), no in and out access.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to check-in (by 3:00 PM EST). Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to check-in will result in a credit card charge for one night. Special cancellation policies may apply for packages, promotions, certain arrival dates and rates.


Do you offer ADA accessible rooms?

Is there a loyalty program?

How much do you charge for wireless internet service?

Complimentary standard high-speed access is available in all guestrooms.  Upgraded wireless internet is also available for $15.00 per 24 hours.


What are the locks and additional security devices on the guestroom doors?

All of our buildings and guestrooms require key card access for entry and we have security staff available on property 24-hours a day.

Are pets welcome?

Dogs and cats under 25 lbs allowed. One pet per room. There is a $150 flat rate. Guests will be required to fill out and sign the Hotel Pet Policy and Consent Form at check-in.


Do you allow smoking on property?

We are a non-smoking hotel. Penalty for smoking is a non-refundable charge of $250.


Can I have a package sent to the hotel? What are the fees?

Yes. We will accept guest packages up to 3 days prior to their arrival. In efforts to accommodate all guests, we ask that shipments do not arrive earlier than three days prior to arrival and storage fees will be applied for earlier deliveries.


Do you have a fitness center?

Yes, it is open 24 hours a day and includes treadmills, free weights, elliptical machines and a stationary bike.
